Flush casement windows
Flush windows are set into the frame and are flush on the outside and Cherwell Windows have developed a new design that has a double weatherseal.
Modern or traditional flush casements
Traditional flush casements are swung on butt hinges and paired with a traditional casement fastener and peg stay. The sight lines are reduced on this type of window making it ideally suited to period properties.
Modern flush casements are fitted with friction hinges and feature multi point locking as standard. The added security of this window is very popular and the additional cost over our traditional window is well worth it.
They have the same security features as the stormproof windows but can also have traditional butt hinges with casement stays.
Flush windows can be made in your chosen design.
Stormproof casement windows
Our stormproof windows are rebated or lipped onto the window frame and incorporate a double weatherseal.
Traditional or Contemporary stormproof casements
Traditional stormproof casement windows have a traditional design with a 68mm sash sightline and include casement stays.
Contemporary stormproof casement windows have a more modern aesthetic with a striking 80mm sash sightline.
To ensure our windows are secure, all of them have multi-point locking systems on their handles with modern stainless steel friction hinges. Stormproof windows can be made in any style and come complete in your chosen stain or paint finish.
Sliding sash windows
Vertical sliding sash windows are constructed in either traditional, contemporary or heritage styles, using lead weights and pulleys, or spiral balances. Although traditional in appearance, each style is made using modern techniques, technology and energy efficiency with a range of ironmongery to suit.
Our range is available in contemporary, traditional and heritage styles which can be customised with a selection of popular bar patterns, as well as an array of sash details and bespoke styles.
Noise reduction timber windows
Our noise reduction timber windows are available in storm, flush and sliding sash casement windows, in a variety of styles. They are perfect for homes in a high environmental noise area, such as next to an airport or busy road.
They can reduce the amount of ambient noise able to penetrate the windows by up to 42dB, giving your house an air of calm.
