Our British made aluminium windows are available in most RAL colours and are powder-coated for longevity. With a low 10 day lead time and a great range of options including dual colours and colour coded gaskets and hardware, our Origin windows are built to last.
With a 20 year guarantee if registered with Origin directly, there’s no compromise when it comes to getting the look you want with the peace of mind of strength and security. The casement window can be made up to 1000mm wide x 1800mm tall on side hung windows and up to 1500mm x 1500mm on top hung windows, and even coupled together for larger apertures.

Using 28mm sealed units and polyamide thermal break technology, Cherwell ensure that all windows conform to the Building Regulation requirements for new build, replacement and refurbishment projects.

Aluminium windows are available in a variety styles including casement, storm, flush, bay and gable end as a well as a range of colours and glass strengths. Cherwell will prepare your windows to your specification, including dual colour windows – provide us with the RAL colour, and your windows will be blend seamlessly with your home.
Modern, contemporary and state of the art designs will allow your home to exude style and class which will be second to none. Our two suppliers of aluminium or aluminium clad windows are Internorm and Origin.
The Origin Window is fitted as standard with a 35mm polyamide thermal break featuring interlocking barriers that minimise air flow through the system.
A bespoke cavity gasket is fitted into the internal chamber of the window between the sash and the frame (excl. the locking side) in order to further improve thermal efficiency.
The Origin Window is available with Aerogel as an optional upgrade. Aerogel is the most insulating material on the planet and allows the Origin Window to achieve a Window Energy Rating of A++ or up to a 0.9 U value.
The Origin Window is Pas 24 certified.
The casement windows have been impact tested up to 2633Pa and fixed windows tested to 3591Pa without failure in the crimps.
Origin hinges are built to ensure minimum wear with ferritic stainless steel which gives enhanced corrosion resistance and the hinges are tested to 50,000 cycles and feature a friction adjustment without metal to metal.
Hinge guards featuring patented anti-slip & lock technology are fitted as standard along the hinged side of the window.
Variable restrictor hooks limit the sash opening to 70mm but can be unhooked allowing the window to fully open.
Origin’s trickle vents meet the minimum air flow rates as defined in the British Building Regulations. Trickle vents can be fitted through the sash or through a 35mm add-on.
